About the Role
">The Dental Assistant is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to doctors and hygienists. As a key player in delivering extraordinary dental care, you will prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction while ensuring smooth procedural execution.
">Responsibilities

* Provide top-notch customer service by making patients your number one priority and maintaining a professional chair-side manner.
* Maintain a high level of alertness and be ready to work at all assigned shift times.
* Take direction from doctors and/or hygienists, assist with all dental procedures, and anticipate their needs.
* Develop and mount accurate, high-quality radiographs.
* Review patient charts prior to doctor arrival, log relevant patient data and health history during exams and treatment, and transcribe doctor's notes.
* Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory according to established procedures and guidelines.
* Efficiently perform procedures to help maintain the schedule and patient flow.
* Educate patients on their treatments and address any questions or concerns they may have.
* Demonstrate excellent teamwork to deliver an extraordinary experience for every patient.
* Partner with doctors, hygienists, operations leaders, and support staff to maintain high levels of patient service and integrity within the organization.
* Assist front office staff with scheduling follow-up visits and tracking incoming and outgoing lab cases to ensure quality and timely products.
* Monitor dental supplies when assigned by operations leaders and order using approved formulary.
* Promote and market supported practices services and retail products.
* Complete checklists as assigned and participate in daily huddles to ensure smooth workflow.
* Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
* Follow established safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and BBP federal regulations.
* Complete all Learning Management System requirements.
">Qualifications

* A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Current radiography certification is mandatory.
* Dental Assistant certification, as required by state law, or ability to become certified.
* CPR certification is preferred.
* Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification is also preferred.
* Ongoing annual training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control is essential.
