Job Description Summary:
* Read and interpret the drawing of the piece to be machined, through the drawing that accompanies the production order, in order to identify the operation to be performed.
* Prepare the machine, using accessories and devices, in order to maintain the squaring of the pieces.
* Machining the pieces, using Universal Milling Machines and Tooling, in order to meet the specifications of the drawing.
* Deburr the machined pieces, using files, in order to eliminate burrs created in the process.
* Control the dimensions of the machined pieces, using the appropriate measurement instruments, in order to ensure the tolerances indicated in the drawing.
* Forward the pieces to the next operation, according to the interpretation of the drawing, in order to deliver the Tools on the requested dates.
* Monitor indicators and actions on the sector's performance, available in the Lean area of the Tooling, in order to reduce costs and maintain the 5s of the sector.
* Execute the checklist of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM), through specific inspection for each machine, in order to avoid unplanned stops due to breakdowns and preserve the conditions of the equipment.
* Maintain the order and organization of the workplace, following the 5S concepts, in order to locate tools, drawings, and materials with greater ease.
* Knowledge of gear machining.
