Job Overview:
This role focuses on advising clients on regulatory frameworks and compliance within the Brazilian crypto sector. It involves supporting licensing and authorization processes, engaging with regulators, and keeping clients updated on regulatory developments. The position also includes delivering strategic insights, training stakeholders, and contributing to business growth through industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed evaluations and analyses of relevant regulatory frameworks, market developments, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic policies across multiple jurisdictions.
* Deliver tailored training sessions to the client’s board members, senior leadership, and compliance teams.
* Support the assessment and fulfilment of existing and upcoming regulatory requirements in selected jurisdictions.
* Keep clients up to date on regulatory changes and compliance obligations.
* Provide technical guidance on applications for authorization, licensing, and registration.
* Oversee the preparation and submission of documentation to regulators, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Track application progress and provide ad hoc assistance throughout the authorization, licensing, and registration processes.
* Identify and develop business opportunities and represent the company at industry conferences and events to strengthen visibility and drive growth.
* Conduct thorough research on regulatory trends and deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications:
* Good experience as a Public Servant, Lobbyist, or in a similar regulatory-focused role.
* Strong understanding of the Brazilian regulatory environment, particularly within the crypto sector.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
* Strategic mindset with the capacity to deliver meaningful insights to both clients and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
* Well-established professional network within key institutions, including but not limited to the Central Bank and the National Congress.
