Derivatives Trading Expert
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to support the validation process for Commodities Asset class onboarding to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets, preferably in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established client team, fully involved in project initiation through to implementation.
Key Responsibilities
* Resolve daily front-office issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing aspects.
* Address daily issues stemming from the front office Equity Derivatives desk.
* Work closely with EQD Desk Traders to address issues and concerns.
* Ammend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, and simulations as required.
* Resolve requests or issues related to P&L, Market Data, and booking issues.
* Contribute to overall solutions by analyzing, formulating, proposing, developing, and testing as per PROD Support deliverables.
* Liaise with technical teams when needed to resolve FO-related issues and necessary enhancements.
* Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various front-office deliverables.
* Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation.
* Continuously follow up on new market regulations and practices globally.
* Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
* Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM.
* Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business.
* Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle.
* Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues.
* 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities.
* 4+ years experience in financial markets roles.
* SQL proficiency.
* Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills.
* Be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter.
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
* Must have strong organization skills.
