At OSF Digital, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Back-End Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of scalable server-side solutions.
The ideal candidate will lead a team of back-end developers, ensure technical excellence across projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance and reliable digital applications aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of back-end developers, providing technical guidance and performance support.
Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance back-end architectures.
Oversee server-side logic, database design and maintenance, ensuring responsiveness to front-end requests.
Ensure code quality, consistency, and maintainability through code reviews and best practices.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Front-End Developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Contribute to technical documentation, including architecture and design specifications.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for back-end development topics.
Stay up to date with emerging back-end technologies and assess their applicability to ongoing and future projects.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring development teams.
Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or .NET.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and web server technologies.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Proficiency with version control tools such as Git.
Strong understanding of server-side logic, scalability, and performance optimization.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Fluency in English is required.
