We’re looking for an Application Specialist to join the team of one of our U.S.-based clients on a full-time basis.Our client is building a remote support team to assist patients in U.S. nursing facilities with preparing and processing long-term-care Medicaid applications. This is a critical and high-impact role that requires a balance of strong documentation skills and empathetic, professional communication.
The individuals on this team will ultimately become the backbone of our client’s success structure, with future leadership opportunities on the horizon. The next few months working on Medicaid applications will serve as a boot camp, providing intensive, hands-on experience that will overqualify them for future Client Success Specialist roles.
This is a remote-first role, but it will require U.S. business hours (Mountain Standard Time) and frequent phone calls. We're looking for highly reliable, professional, and fluent individuals who can represent us confidently to one of our most important enterprise clients.
Role Overview
As a Client Support Specialist, you will work closely with patients, their families, nursing facility staff, and the state Medicaid office to collect, organize, and track sensitive financial and legal documentation. You'll also coordinate with our team of Medicaid planners and attorneys to ensure applications are complete and submitted on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist patients and their families in completing Medicaid applications
* Collect and organize financial documents (e.g., bank statements, tax returns)
* Communicate with care facilities and Medicaid office staff
* Track application progress and update internal systems
* Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in document handling
* Deliver regular updates to U.S.-based legal and Medicaid planning teams
Required Qualifications
* Exceptional English fluency : C1+ or native equivalent, both spoken and written
* Clear, neutral accent : Must be easily understood by elderly U.S. clients
* Empathetic and Proactive Communication : Must be comfortable making daily phone calls and speaking with individuals, often in emotional or sensitive situations, with empathy and professionalism.
* Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail and experience handling sensitive financial or legal documents
* Exceptionally organized : Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up diligently.
* Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients via phone, Zoom, or email
* Proficiency with Google Workspace Tools, Microsoft Excel, PDF tools, and case tracking systems
* Prior experience in healthcare, finance, immigration, or legal back office roles is a strong plus
* Familiarity with U.S.-style documentation (e.g., mortgage processing, visa petitions, tax filings, tax returns, KYC, etc.) is also strongly preferred. This experience is valuable and carries significant weight in the overall evaluation.
