Job Title: Front Office Trader
Job Description:
* Our team is seeking an experienced professional to support validation for Commodities Asset class onboarding to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk. The candidate should have experience in capital markets, preferably in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives.
* This role offers the benefit of working with an established client team, fully involved in the project initiation through to project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Resolve daily FO issues on functional, valuation, and pricing.
2. Resolve daily issues stemming from FO Equity Derivatives desk.
3. Work closely with EQD Desk Traders to address issues.
4. Ammend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations.
5. Resolve request or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues.
6. Analyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables.
7. Liaise with technical team(s) when needed to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements.
8. Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables.
9. Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation.
10. Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally.
11. Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
12. Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM.
* Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business.
* Very Strong understanding on P&L concept overall and its components.
* Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle.
* Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues.
* 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities.
* 4+ years experience in financial markets role.
* SQL proficiency.
* Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills.
* Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter.
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
* Must have strong organization skills.
