Media Production Specialist
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented media production specialist to manage the full production workflow of our weekly interview podcast. The successful candidate will handle guest communication, scheduling, episode preparation, editorial coordination, and project management from pre-production through publishing.
* Manage all communication with guests from initial outreach to post-episode follow-up
* Schedule interviews, send confirmations/reminders, and provide prep materials
* Collect bios, headshots, books, links, and required release forms
Responsibilities
* Prepare episode briefs and host prep sheets
* Attend live recordings (optional) to track timestamps and notes
* Review raw audio/video and provide clear edit notes to the editor
* Restructure episodes for clarity, flow, and narrative arc
* Collaborate on episode titles, angles, hooks, and story direction
Requirements
* 2+ years experience in media production, preferably in a podcasting environment
* Experience working with audio/video editors
* Strong writing and communication skills
* Ability to review episodes and give editorial direction
* Familiarity with publishing platforms (Spotify, Buzzsprout)
* Strong organizational skills with tools like Notion, Trello, or Asana
