The Project Manager will manage all three contractors and will rely heavily on the PMA for technical support during the design phases and for construction oversight. The key mission is to ensure that the final as-built facility strictly matches the approved, validated design and meets operational, regulatory, and quality requirements. 1. Leadership & Coordination - Coordinate daily with the PMA team serving as technical advisors and field oversight to manage the Design & Engineering Contractor and Construction Contractor. - Conduct with PMA assistance detailed technical reviews of architectural studies, Detailed Design packages, and engineering deliverables to validate design documents, approve technical choices, and ensure design quality. - For the new build and the retrofit execution, direct the PMA to conduct on-site supervision, quality control, and safety inspections. - Ensure all construction activities comply strictly with the validated design and specifications ("as-built = as-designed"). - Oversee testing, commissioning, and punch-list closure with PMA support. 2. Project Management & Execution Control - Establish and maintain master schedules covering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. - Lead risk management and implement mitigation plans at each phase. - Control budgets and validate contractor invoices, claims, and change requests - Act as the project's central point of coordination between internal departments, contractors, and executive leadership. - Present clear reporting, KPIs, risk dashboards, and status summaries. - Ensure transparent and well-documented decision-making.
