Job Description
The Infrastructure Engineer is primarily responsible for engineering, configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of the Company’s infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage, backups, and disaster recovery planning. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead complex projects.
Essential Job Duties
Assist in research, evaluation, and recommendation of networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and network management systems.
Assist in designing, configuring, or upgrading local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
Assist in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving connection, reliability, or performance issues.
Keep the workroom neat, organized, and secure.
Work under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment.
Consult with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience.
Apply basic application management and administration skills with a moderate level of proficiency.
Represent the department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes.
Work within defined ITIL processes such as change and incident management.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with Cisco switches/routers, firewalls and related device support.
Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP familiarity
Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Ability to multi-task
Knowledge of reference lab operations and processes a plus.
Knowledge and management of System Development Lifecycle Methodologies a plus.
Experience in maintaining technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution
Goal-oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Keenly attentive to detail
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
High level of proficiency with PC-based software programs including MS Office suite, Visio, and project management tools.

Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
