Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to support the validation of Commodities Asset class onboarding to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk.
The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets, preferably in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work with an established client team involved in project initiation through to project implementation.
Responsibilities:
* Resolve daily FO issues on functional, valuation, and pricing.
* Address daily issues stemming from the FO Equity Derivatives desk.
* Work closely with EQD Desk Traders (L3) to resolve issues.
* Apply FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations.
* Resolve requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues.
* Analyze, formulate, propose, develop, and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables.
* Liaise with technical teams when needed to resolve FO-related issues and enhancements.
* Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables.
* Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation.
* Follow up on new Market regulations/practices globally.
* Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
* Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM.
* Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business.
* Very Strong understanding on P&L concept overall and its components.
* Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle.
* Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues.
* 5+ years of experience with Murex FO functionalities.
* 4+ years of experience in financial markets role.
* SQL proficiency.
* Must have a strong personality, logical and analytical skills.
* Be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter.
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
* Must have strong organization skills.
