Key Roles and Responsibilities
The AI Systems Associate will work closely with the firm's Partners to develop scalable internal workflows, automate processes, and implement efficient knowledge management systems.
* Audit existing tools (email, Slack, Notion, Airtable, CRM) to identify areas of improvement.
* Design and implement AI-powered workflows for deal triage, research, summarization, communication drafts, and meeting synthesis.
* Utilize AI as a strategic force multiplier to enhance clarity and reliability.
Systems Development & Structure
* Develop and maintain the firm's operating framework using Airtable and other AI tools.
* Create data models, tagging systems, and playbooks for pipeline, portfolio, and stakeholder tracking.
* Transform partner insights into structured, searchable knowledge bases.
Automation & Integration
* Implement tools like Zapier/Make and APIs to connect systems, reduce manual work, and synchronize data.
* Maintain automations as tools and processes evolve.
Insight Generation & Reporting
* Support Partners with actionable insights for IC discussions, portfolio updates, and LP conversations.
* Develop simple dashboards or queries to answer recurring questions.
Requirements:
* 2–7 years in operations, business operations, product operations, RevOps, chief-of-staff, analytics, or similar roles in startups, tech, or investment firms.
* Experience designing workflows/automations (Notion, Airtable, CRMs, Zapier/Make).
* Demonstrated use of AI tools to transform workflows.
* Comfort with data work (spreadsheets, basic queries; bonus for APIs/scripting).
* Strong written communication; ability to work remote-first with high reliability.
