Strategic Business Development Manager Role
The objective of this position is to foster strategic business partnerships with software industry leaders, thereby identifying and securing opportunities for acquisition. A successful candidate will be characterized by their ability to establish meaningful relationships that ultimately lead to the acquisition of software companies.
* Develop a robust M&A pipeline through Salesforce CRM and create market maps to strengthen business ties in assigned software industry sectors.
* Meet and surpass monthly M&A targets, including establishment of significant connections and other quantifiable M&A sourcing metrics.
* Collaborate effectively with M&A leadership to qualify potential acquisition opportunities efficiently.
* Ensure accurate allocation of the lead database across portfolio verticals.
* Qualify high-potential opportunities at the top-end of the acquisition funnel to maintain focus for Portfolio Managers overseeing business units.
