Responsibilities:
Delivery Safety Strategy Architecture - Build a comprehensive safety framework for delivery operations, covering risk prevention, incident response, and post-event review.
- Localize and deploy core safety technologies, including real-time risk alerts, rider bio-metric authentication, and route risk evaluation.
- Work closely with product and operations teams to embed safety standards into platform processes, tools, and training. Rider Safety Risk Management - Develop a real-time safety monitoring system for delivery partners in high-risk zones, leveraging Location-Based Services and historical incident data.
- Design and maintain a rider-facing safety toolkit within the app. Incident Response & Emergency Handling - Establish an efficient on-call mechanism and SOP for managing safety incidents, ensuring rapid response and clear accountability.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when serious incidents occur;
maintain escalation protocols and response partnerships in key cities. Field Operations & Local Safety Support - Build and lead a local safety operations team with presence in core operational cities, providing front line support during incidents and safety checks.
- Monitor safety performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.Qualifications:
- Over 8 years of risk control experience with multinational companies, including successful cases of building security systems from the ground up in emerging markets.
- Expertise in public-private sector collaboration and innovation, having led national-level data interoperability projects or promoted safety legislation.
- Technical insights:
deep application of LBS risk control, AI prediction, bio-metric recognition, and other technologies to address complex security challenges.
- In-depth understanding of Brazilian social and cultural contexts, with the ability to design localized solutions for specific local issues.
- Ability to establish mutually beneficial safety mechanisms in legally ambiguous areas.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in Portuguese a plus.
