Job Description:
Role & Responsibilities:
* Assures fair and equitable HR and personnel programs are developed and maintained consistent with the company direction.
* Leads the plant’s activities in improving performance in cost, quality, and service.
* Develops and maintains a safe and sanitary work environment with the plant team.
* Provides leadership in production while improving fixed and variable costs.
* Represents Schreiber Foods with regulatory agencies, customers, and the community.
* Defines and reviews KPIs with Category leads.
* Understands shipping and transportation needs and works on solutions.
* Recommends and ensures prudent use of capital for equipment and facilities.
* Negotiates lease and supply agreements as needed.
* Provides coaching and career development to staff.
* Seeks understanding of market conditions.
* Creates and supports a Process Excellence culture.
* Ensures compliance with Food Safety and Quality Plans, and customer requirements.
* Interprets and communicates customer requirements to production/support groups.
* Establishes and audits PCPs, CCPs, and SOPs to meet customer needs.
* Reviews incidents and implements corrective actions.
* Trains, coaches, evaluates, and reinforces company principles.
* Identifies capital improvement opportunities and manages projects.
* Supports the local community aligned with company values.
Key Ingredients:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Dairy Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
* 7-10 years of experience in Food Manufacturing or similar roles.
* Fluency in English and Portuguese.
* Ability to adapt to local culture and uphold company values.
* Strong leadership, communication, and listening skills.
* Resilience and problem-solving abilities.
* Understanding of Process Excellence tools.
* Knowledge of food regulations.
* Interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
* Budget planning skills.
* Share best practices across plants.
* Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation skills.
* Willingness to travel up to 15% annually.
