**Salesforce Developer Position Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing world-class Salesforce applications that meet the evolving needs of our CRM requirements.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Develop Innovative Solutions: Design and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform tailored to the complexities of labor resource management, payroll, and human resources.
* Enhance User Experience: Develop custom interfaces, advanced workflows, and other technical elements within Salesforce that improve the overall user experience.
* Provide Training and Support: Provide training to junior developers and manage their growth as engineers.
* Analyze Business Processes: Analyze business processes and translate them into efficient Salesforce implementations, leveraging Flows, Apex, LWC, and any other relevant APIs.
* Assist with Integrations: Assist with integrations involving third-party APIs and implementation.
* Troubleshoot Issues: Take ownership of issues through to resolution - including translating business requirements to technical story requirements, troubleshooting issues, driving internal communication with business stakeholders, and gathering feedback to improve technical solutions on a regular basis.
* Liaise with Internal Teams: Liaise and work closely with the internal teams on raised technical challenges and help guide product roadmap changes/new features.
* Support Engineering Excellence: Support a culture of collaboration, respect, engineering/operational excellence, and regular delivery of customer value.
* Design and Optimize Architecture: Analyze complex business and technical requirements, with a particular focus on their impact on the application infrastructure and environment, to guide solution design and delivery.
* Enhance Performance: Enhance existing architecture and optimize performance for scale via best practices and industry standards.
* Manage Deliverables: Manage and complete Salesforce development deliverables with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple in-flight stories and initiatives.
* Establish Best Practices: Establish best practices for code reviews, documentation, and the Salesforce development life cycle, contributing to the knowledge base and continuous learning of the development team.
* Perform Testing: Perform all testing of Salesforce code, components, and integrations, including helping write detailed user testing instructions for business users.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Apex Development Experience: Experience in the programmatic development of Salesforce applications using Apex.
* Customized Salesforce Environment Experience: Experience working on a development team in a highly customized Salesforce environment, as well as an in-depth background working across various Salesforce clouds (Service, Experience, etc.).
* Lightning Experience: Highly experienced with Lightning (Aura and Lightning Web Components), Visualforce, REST and SOAP APIs, and Web Services.
* Non-Salesforce Ecosystem Experience: Non-Salesforce ecosystem development experience a plus (i.e. you were a software engineer before entering the Salesforce ecosystem).
* Arcitect-Level Experience: Architect-level experience preferred, but not required.
* DevOps Experience: Well-versed in best DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
* Certifications: The following certificates are strongly preferred: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
