Senior Data Scientist
The main goal of this project is to modernize and develop an e-commerce platform for a large US-based retail company, serving millions of customers weekly.
* Project responsibilities include new brand onboarding, re-architecture, database migrations, and migrating microservices to a unified cloud-native solution without business disruption.
* We seek a data engineer with machine learning expertise and knowledge of search engines to work on the following tasks:
* - Design, develop, and optimize semantic and vector-based search solutions using Lucene/Solr and modern embeddings.
* - Apply techniques to improve search relevance and ranking.
* - Develop scalable data pipelines and APIs for indexing, retrieval, and model inference.
* - Integrate capabilities into production systems.
* - Evaluate, fine-tune, and monitor performance metrics.
* - Collaborate with teams to translate business needs into technical implementations.
* - Stay current with advancements in search technologies and frameworks.
