Business Development Lead for Renewable Energy in Brazil
We are partnering with a leading international Independent Power Producer entering Brazil's renewable energy market.
This role is open to remote work, but you must have a strong understanding of the Brazilian market, established networks and local expertise to identify and develop new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct research to identify viable PtX and green hydrogen opportunities in Brazil.
* Evaluate potential projects, sites, and partners during the screening phase.
* Support risk assessment and feasibility analysis.
* Develop financial forecasts and investment models to guide strategic decisions.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to assess alignment with company goals.
* Leverage existing networks to gather market intelligence and insights.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in business development for renewable energy or related sectors.
* Good knowledge of renewable energy markets in Brazil.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in Brazil.
* Ability to evaluate opportunities and conduct early-stage project analysis.
* Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.
* Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish would be an asset).
* Able to work remotely from Brazil, with occasional travel as needed.
