Senior Commodities Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned professional to support the onboarding process for commodities assets to an Equity Derivatives trading desk. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets, preferably in commodities and/or equity derivatives.
Responsibilities:
* Resolve daily issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
* Address daily problems stemming from the Equity Derivatives desk
* Collaborate closely with traders to resolve issues
* Amend pre-trade rules, eTradePad, and simulations
* Resolve requests or issues with profit and loss, market data, and booking issues
* Analyze and propose solutions based on production support deliverables
* Liaise with technical teams to resolve issues and enhancements related to front office functions
* Manage day-to-day project tasks to complete various front office deliverables
* Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation
* Follow up on new market regulations and practices globally
* Perform testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
Requirements:
* Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM
* Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business
* Strong understanding of P&L concept overall and its components
* Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
* Experience in supporting front office users and resolving their daily issues
* 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities
* 4+ years experience in financial markets role
* SQL proficiency
* Strong personality, logical and analytical skills
* Be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills
