Head of Renewable Energy Investments
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our renewable energy investments, focusing on identifying and evaluating opportunities in the sector.
This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and execute investment strategies, conducting thorough financial analysis and due diligence to assess the viability of potential projects, and managing relationships with key stakeholders, including project developers, financial institutions, and government agencies.
Duties and Accountabilities:
* Investment Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and execute comprehensive investment strategies for renewable energy projects.
* Financial Analysis and Due Diligence: Conduct rigorous financial analysis and due diligence to evaluate the feasibility of potential investments, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
* Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project developers, investors, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
* Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team, empowering them to deliver high-quality results and achieve our business objectives.
* Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technological advancements, and policy changes to inform investment decisions.
Requirements:
* 8+ years of experience in investment banking, asset management, or private equity, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
* Proven track record of successful deal execution, including sourcing, due diligence, and closing transactions.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed investment decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is desirable.
