Description Director of Corporate Strategy and Partnerships– Latin America (LAC) Location: Remote in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Guatemala, Honduras, Bolivia Travel: Up to 25% Travel Required Language Requirements: Must be fluent in English and Spanish Application Requirements: Cover Letter required, ideal CV or Resume length - 1 page Director of Corporate Strategy and Partnerships– Latin America (LAC) Position Summary The Director of Corporate Strategy and Partnerships for Latin America leads the end-to-end development strategy and execution across the region, with a primary focus on regional and global corporate partnerships and full responsibility for delivering the region’s Proof of Concept project, revenue growth, donor stewardship, country support, and operational alignment. The role combines senior strategic leadership with hands-on execution, working in close partnership with Executive Directors in each LAC country (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Guatemala, Honduras, Bolivia) and multiple global teams. This position ensures that regional plans turn into real results: accurate projections, strong donor relationships, aligned reporting, quality program delivery, and consistent revenue growth. Core Responsibilities 1. Regional Proof of Concept project Lead the design and execution of a structured Market Readiness and Strategic Prospecting Test to evaluate corporate fundraising viability across the LAC region. Define and apply clear qualification criteria (capacity, alignment, decision-making authority) to identify and prioritize high-potential corporate prospects. Build and manage a disciplined corporate pipeline, tracking leading indicators such as access rates, meeting conversion, stakeholder expansion, and proposal invitations. Develop and activate credible entry strategies, leveraging board networks, peer introductions, regional connectors, and strategic partnerships to secure senior-level access. Drive progression of qualified opportunities from first engagement through proposal stage, ensuring focus on meaningful, multi-year partnership potential. Monitor and report on weighted pipeline value, conversion metrics, and resource efficiency, linking investment inputs to measurable traction outcomes. Collaborate with global and regional colleagues to align value propositions, partnership models, and executive engagement strategies. Provide structured market insights and evidence-based recommendations to senior leadership on whether to scale, refine, or reallocate investment within the region. 2. Corporate Partnerships Manage and grow strategic regional partners: Colgate, J&J, Latter-day Saints, Stryker, DHL, Linde/White Martins, Cisco, Sika, Scotiabank, Microsoft, and others. Coordinate multi-country execution of: Donor visits. Employee engagement workshops Cause-marketing campaigns Cash and GIK commitments Program support and reporting Lead donor meetings, negotiations, and business development conversations—often directly at C-suite or VP level. Ensure each country executes partner agreements consistently and with high quality. Troubleshoot operational issues (logistics, timelines, reporting, invoices, finance classification, program implementation). 3. Revenue Growth, Forecasting & Pipeline Management Create monthly revenue reports comparing: projections vs. actuals cash vs. liabilities donor by donor performance country performance vs. targets Analyze historical revenue trends for each country and use these insights to guide planning. Identify risks and gaps early, and coordinate interventions with country teams to close those gaps. 4. Cross-Functional Regional Leadership Partner with Finance to clarify revenue classification and ensure accurate monthly reporting. Work with Marketing/Communications on: Corporate visibility Proposals Impact reports Branding alignment Websites and digital content Collaborate with Legal and HR as needed for partnerships, volunteer programs, and regional planning. Qualifications Qualifications 10–15 years in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or business development across multinational or health/NGO sectors. Strong experience managing multi-country portfolios and C-level relationships. Experience of running a proof of concept project across markets. Proven ability to lead strategy and execute operationally. Financial analysis and forecasting expertise. English and Spanish fluency; Portuguese preferred. Why Operation Smile?
