Role Overview
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a high-performance website. You should understand modern web technologies, be comfortable working in a collaborative team, and be able to troubleshoot complex technical issues. You should also stay updated with the latest trends in web development, analytics, accessibility, SEO, and performance optimization.
You will support weekly sprints, ensure smooth execution of web projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve website performance, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain up-to-date status of all development tasks within weekly sprints, complete tasks on time, and own assigned projects.
* Enhance mobile responsiveness and accessibility.
* Partner with Content and Product Marketing to enhance digital journeys and drive business value.
* Collaborate with designers, content creators, and developers to create visually appealing, user-friendly websites that meet business goals.
* Work closely with the senior web developer to align on priorities and technical execution.
* Translate brand promises, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies into engaging digital experiences.
* Work with stakeholders to convert needs into technical requirements and sprint deliverables.
* Utilize tools like Hotjar for user insights and web experience optimization.
* Implement tracking codes, event tracking, and pixels using Google Tag Manager and GA4.
* Optimize website speed through resource minimization, JavaScript optimization, lazy loading, and CDN usage.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure website stability, security, and performance.
* Maintain clear documentation of development processes for knowledge sharing.
Skills & Experience
* 3-5 years of web development experience, preferably with HubSpot CMS or similar platforms like WordPress or Webflow.
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks like React or Vue.js.
* Experience with backend development, API integrations, and databases.
* Knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and event tracking setup.
* Understanding of SEO best practices, structured data, and technical SEO.
* Experience with A/B testing and data analysis for web optimization.
* Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
* Experience with Git version control.
* Strong documentation skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional projects.
* Experience in creating digital strategies to improve engagement, conversions, and leads.
* Ability to drive end-to-end agile projects ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Bonus Skills
* Experience using Generative AI (GenAI) or LLMs in web workflows.
* Experience with project management tools like Monday.com.
* Experience with interactive web experiences.
* Experience with Salesforce and CRM integrations.
* Experience with user insights and CRO tools like Hotjar or CrazyEgg.
* Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Google Looker Studio.
* Advanced insights extraction from Google Analytics and HubSpot Analytics.

First 3 Months
* Understand web infrastructure, workflows, and sprints.
* Complete assigned tasks within sprints.

4-6 Months
* Handle all sprint tasks independently.
* Implement tracking and performance optimizations.
* Collaborate effectively with marketing, content, and design teams.
* Execute SEO and Core Web Vitals improvements.
* Propose new optimizations for engagement and conversions.
* Support analytics, testing, and web optimization efforts.
6-9 Months
* Complete all tasks independently, supporting complex projects.
* Provide strategic insights from analytics.
Additional Information
* Employees are hired through a professional employer organization; employment may transfer to a local Varicent entity.
* Work hours are aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST). Flexibility is required if outside EST.
