This modern, well-structured location embodies our vision of a vibrant urban hub with a distinct international energy.ROLEThe Senior Accounting Analyst will be primarily responsible for leading and ensuring excellence in accounting operations, guaranteeing accurate bookkeeping, compliance with applicable accounting standards (BR GAAP / IFRS), and adherence to the Group's internal policies.This role will act as a technical reference for the accounting area, with strong involvement in the month-end closing processes, ensuring the quality of information and compliance with company deadlines. You will play an active role in the preparation of Financial Statements, continuous process improvement, and the strengthening of internal controls.You will be the main point of contact for the accounting function in interactions with external auditors, inspections, and regulatory bodies, as well as in supporting other areas of the company with accounting interfaces, including Tax, Billing, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, in addition to external partners such as the Tax BPO. You will also work closely with global teams, contributing to strategic projects and to the implementation of relevant regulatory and accounting changes.What You'll DoAct in accounting operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance with applicable accounting standards (BR GAAP / IFRS)Lead and ensure the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings, meeting deadlines and ensuring the quality and consistency of reported informationPrepare and review Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy and technical compliancePerform analysis of the Financial Statements, identifying significant variances, risks, and opportunities for improvementMap, document, and promote continuous improvement of accounting and financial processesPrepare and review the Digital Accounting Bookkeeping (ECD)Serve as the main point of contact for external audits, inspections, and inquiries from government authoritiesProvide technical support to other members of the accounting team, the tax team, the Tax BPO, and other company areas with accounting interfacesWork closely with the Tax, Billing, Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring proper accounting and reconciliation of balances in the Financial StatementsCollaborate with the Global Tax team to ensure proper tax control, accounting, and reportingImplement, monitor, and enhance internal controls, ensuring the integrity and reliability of accounting informationSupport the maintenance and configuration of the ERP system (Dynamics 365), especially on accounting-related mattersEvaluate the performance of services provided by the Tax BPO, proposing improvements and monitoring their tasksMonitor changes in accounting standards and ensure their proper implementationActively participate in strategic projects within the area, such as risk assessments, process reviews, and efficiency initiativesSupport the implementation of the Tax Reform and its accounting and operational impactsWho You AreBachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum of 8 years of experience in the accounting areaPostgraduate degree or specialization in Controllership, Accounting, or related fields is considered a plusSolid experience with Financial Statements, accounting close, audit support, ECD, and account reconciliationsExperience with ERP systems; Dynamics 365 (Microsoft) is a plusStrong analytical profile, with a holistic view of the finance area and the ability to critically assess processes and journal entriesProactive, well-organized, resilient, with strong priority management skillsAdvanced Excel skillsAdvanced English, with the ability to interact with global teamsRewards & BenefitsLife insurance, health insurance and dentalGym membership, meal allowance and transportation vouchersNursery reimbursementSpecial discounts at and EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES STATEMENTFARFETCH is committed to being an inclusive workplace where diversity in all its forms is celebrated.
