Manager, Corporate DevelopmentEasyPayroll Global Limited Ireland and their local affiliate ITOS Brasil LTDA are looking to hire a Manager, Corporate Development, to provide services to companies within the Perseus Group (“Perseus”).Perseus is an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. (csisoftware.com | TSX: CSU), a Canadian-based publicly held company. Perseus has over 6,000 employees across 70+ software business units, operating in 12+ industry verticals, with locations in over 40 offices.The Role:The Manager, Corporate Development, will focus on building strong strategic relationships that lead to sourcing current and future M&A opportunities for Perseus. These relationships will be with decision makers such as CEOs, VPs of Corporate Development, founders, owners of software companies, M&A advisors, and private equity/venture capital professionals. Success is defined by establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships that result in the acquisition of software companies.The process involves initiating and nurturing relationships over several years, with measurable outcomes, ongoing value addition through numerous M&A conversations, and high-quality market research to facilitate successful acquisitions over time.Outcomes:Develop and manage an M&A pipeline using Salesforce CRM and create market maps to strengthen relationships within assigned software industry verticals.Meet and exceed monthly M&A targets, including meaningful contacts and other KPIs.Work independently and collaboratively with M&A leadership to qualify opportunities efficiently.Ensure accurate allocation of the lead database within portfolio verticals.Qualify opportunities at the top of the acquisition funnel to maintain focus for Portfolio Managers.Relevant Experience & Competencies:At least 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a client-facing M&A/finance role within a software company, or in business development, sales, and/or account management. Preference for outbound-focused origination roles.A genuine interest in developing a long-term pipeline of relationships within software investing.Proven high performance in Business Development, autonomous roles, or success outside professional BD, such as entrepreneurship.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence and executive presence to engage with CEOs, M&A advisors, corporate development, private equity, and venture capital professionals.Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to variable working hours.Strong work ethic, proactive, with a sense of urgency.Other Requirements:This role may require occasional in-person travel to Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and/or Peru, with the possibility of primarily remote work.
