Main responsibilities
Central Sourcing:
- Support MGM in supply market analysis and supplier development;
- Support MGM in price curve development and lead time definition;
OTO: (Proposal Phase)
- Do RFQs where necessary;
- Support PSM in sourcing strategy definition;
OTC: (Execution Phase)
- Support concurrent engineering with supplier;
- Do RFQ incl. TCO comparison, negotiate offers, and select supplier (together with MGM if applicable);
- Detail out contract (together w/ MGM if app) and place order;
- Track cost, supplier manufacturing progress, and quality;
- Coordinate inspections, FAT, and parts delivery / shipping;
- Ensure adherence to defined processes and compliance with all applicable rules and regulations;
- Follow up on goods receipt / documentation receipt;
- Manage post-delivery (site support / bonds / NCRs);
- Manage claims;
- Do Lessons Learned as needed;
Functional skills:
- Technical knowledge: HPP, own material group (incl. typical specs, designs, ITPs);
- Supplier manufacturing processes, cost structures, cost drivers, and lead times;
- Knowledge of internal customers and expectations;
- Regional Supply market knowledge: Supply base, prices, trends
- Purchasing process knowledge (RFP, RFQ, PR, PO, Good receipts, Invoices etc)
- Fluent English (mandatory), Spanish (nice to have);
Methodological skills:
- Analytical skills: TCO analysis, SRM, CBS, Strategic Sourcing Tools, PR & PO Management
- Negotiation skills: Preparation, argumentation, judgment of situation;
- Tools: ERP System(s) (SAP), MS Office, Excel (mainly)
Social skills:
