Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Researcher to join our Tax & Regulations team.
* Research Expertise
o Monitor legislative and regulatory changes using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
o Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other requirements across jurisdictions.
o Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation with high accuracy and clarity.
o Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required.
SAP GTS Integration
* Provide research insights relevant to SAP GTS, supporting product specialists on topics such as Export Control & Licensing, Import Control & Market Access, Sanctions & Restricted Party Compliance, Customs & Tariff Management, Trade Agreements & Origin Management, Regulatory Reporting & Declarations, Product & Classification Compliance, Collaboration & Documentation.
* Distribute clear summaries and detailed regulatory insights needed by ERP and product specialists to implement system changes for clients.
* Collaborate with Business Analysts and fellow researchers to validate findings and maintain consistency.
* Support research expansion into Indirect Tax topics where applicable.
