About this Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an AEP Solutions Consultant. This is a strategic and technical role at the intersection of marketing technology and fan experience, especially within the fast-paced world of sports and entertainment.
As a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders, you'll be expected to understand and translate marketing KPIs into actionable AEP configurations, channel and data activations, ensuring solutions not only perform but also drive growth, personalization and engagement—particularly within the context of the sports, where the fan experience is paramount.
Main Responsibilities:
* Architect and lead the delivery of complex AEP solutions that are scalable, future-proof, and aligned with client goals—particularly those tied to marketing KPIs such as fan acquisition, engagement, conversion, merchandise and ticket sales.
* Partner closely with stakeholders in sports and entertainment organizations to understand their fans' behaviors, journeys, and content consumption habits, and translate those insights into personalized, real-time AEP activations.
* Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices in AEP implementation, data design, and campaign orchestration.
* Drive the technical delivery of AEP projects end-to-end—ensuring on-time completion, high-quality outputs, and alignment with scope and budget.
* Stay current with evolving AEP capabilities and broader MarTech trends to help clients maintain a competitive edge in engaging fans across channels.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, strategists, and analytics teams to align technical execution with business objectives and measurable outcomes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in marketing technology implementations, with deep hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Platform and related tools such as Adobe Campaign, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics.
* Strong knowledge of marketing performance metrics and how to architect solutions that influence outcomes such as ROI, CLTV, churn, and campaign lift.
* Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and foster a collaborative delivery environment.
* Experience with data, segmentation, identity resolution, consent management, and journey building & personalization within AEP.
* Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and business teams.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience working with or supporting clients in the sports, media, or entertainment industries.
* Familiarity with fan engagement strategies, event-driven personalization, and omnichannel orchestration in a sports context.
* Integration experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and third-party data sources to enrich customer profiles.
* Understanding of audience segmentation, journey mapping, and how AEP can be leveraged to optimize the end-to-end fan experience.
