Job Summary
Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) Facilities department is hiring a part-time custodian to collect exterior campus waste and maintain their receptacles. This position performs skilled cleaning work to the exterior surfaces of the stainless steel receptacles and exterior furniture.

Job end date: 12/31/25*
* Position has potential to renew with each new fiscal year depending on department budget and need.
Essential Functions
50% - Performs routine daily collection at all exterior waste collection sites
30% - wipes down exterior tables and chairs daily
10% - Responds to work order requests for recycling or waste collection
10% Other duties as assigned commensurate to the grade level of the position
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
Special Working Conditions
* Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D driver's license required, employee must meet minimum standards regarding driving.
* Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 20lbs overhead.
* May be required to work outdoors in unfavorable weather conditions.
* May be required to lift or carry up to 75lbs overhead with reasonable accommodation.
