Job Title: Business Application Developer
The primary function of this role is to design, develop, and maintain custom business applications that meet the needs of clients using the Microsoft PowerApps Platform as a service suite.
This position requires proven experience in complex application development and maintenance across various web-based platforms. The ideal candidate will be familiar with new features within the Power Platform and have expertise in database development, including working with basic queries, views, and stored procedures/functions.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes gathering and analyzing business requirements, functional and technical specifications, designing, developing, testing, deploying applications, and providing production support.
Documentation skills are also essential for this role, including creating end-user work instructions, process documentation, and software documentation.
In addition, the ability to implement projects under agile/scrum methodologies is required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in complex PowerApps applications & Bl design, development and maintenance of web-based applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
* Familiarity with new features in Power Platform.
* Database development in working with basic queries, views, and a basic understanding of stored procedures/functions.
* Working through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes gathering and analyzing business requirements functional and technical specifications, designing, developing, testing, and deploying the applications and providing production support.
* Documenting: End user work instructions / process documentation / software documentation.
* Implementing projects under the agile/scrum software development methodologies.
