The Skilled Operator plays a pivotal role in supporting and executing operational activities to achieve production targets. This role involves performing basic operational processes in production, operating equipment that requires proficiency, and utilizing knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools to execute tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute operational activities such as discharge, load, transport, clean, label, and operate all equipment to contribute to safe, effective, and efficient production processes.
2. Periodically inspect and execute small maintenance tasks on production equipment, signaling defects and deficiencies.
3. If applicable, conduct minor repair work.
Maintenance and Repair Tasks
1. Signal deviations in current processes, techniques, and/or systems and flag opportunities for improvement with supervisor to continuously optimize and improve operational (work) processes, tools, and systems.
2. Log data and information on production orders and activities in the appropriate logbooks/systems to have a complete administration and insight into the state and progress of production orders.
Safety and Compliance
1. Work in compliance with all relevant (personal as well as food) safety, environmental, and quality regulations and procedures as well as operational standards.
2. Promote awareness on SHEQ, signal potential hazardous and/or unsafe situations, and take appropriate action in case of imminent unsafe situations.
3. Ensure the work area is left clean and in a safe working condition, and there are no hazardous situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Able to acquire proficiency in operating equipment through training on the job and specialized training.
* Familiarity with materials, equipment, and tools used in production.
* Ability to perform routine tasks based on training and experience.
