About This Role:
We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to ensure seamless SAP operations and maximize system uptime. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for mentoring and training team members, handling tickets, performing root cause analysis, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure SLA adherence and process compliance (ITIL awareness)
* Mentor and train junior team members
* Handle tickets, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot technical issues
* Lead installation, configuration, migration, and upgrade activities
* Define and enforce operational processes
* Collaborate with functional teams on cutover strategies and post-implementation support
Technical Requirements:
* SAP server installation/configuration (ABAP, Java, ABAP+Java stacks)
* High Availability setup (Unix/Windows)
* SAP BASIS server administration and RCA for escalated issues
* Kickstart environment setup and maintenance
* End-to-end SAP lifecycle implementations for global clients
* SAP version and EHP upgrades
* Performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting across app, DB, and OS
* Strong understanding of NetWeaver components (EP, PI, BI, ECC, CRM, SRM, SolMan, TREX, MDM)
* Oracle DB, BRTools, SAP HANA DB, Sybase ASE, Linux/Windows admin
