Electronic Trading – Senior .NET Developer (CLT)
About the Project
This is a greenfield initiative to build and evolve a next‑generation electronic trading platform for Fixed Income, designed to support a global trading business. The project is long‑term, strategically important, and sponsored at senior business levels, offering strong visibility and stability.
Working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams in Europe and Latin America, you will be part of a high‑performing, agile team building a modern, cloud‑native platform on AWS from the ground up.

Role Overview
You will collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and business partners to design and implement scalable, reliable backend services that support complex electronic trading and pricing workflows. This is a hands‑on senior position, ideal for engineers with solid backend experience who enjoy working on greenfield systems, influencing architecture, and mentoring through technical excellence and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of backend software delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and reliability
Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using modern .NET technologies
Contribute to and lead technical design decisions, with well‑documented system architecture
Apply industry best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and system observability
Collaborate effectively with distributed technology teams and business stakeholders
Actively contribute to an agile, learning‑driven engineering culture
Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET/.NET Core and related technologies
Develop and maintain cloud‑based applications using AWS
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment processes
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
Contribute to improving development processes and methodologies
On‑call responsibilities (usually every 3 weeks)
Collaborate with Portfolio managers and external teams
Derive requirements and match them with architecture solutions
Develop, test and deploy applications
L3 support the end users and business
Participate in the full development lifecycle: conception, design, implementation, automated testing, and deployment
Dynamic and proactive in seeking information
Required Technical Skills & Experience
At least 6 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer working on complex systems
Strong expertise in .NET / .NET Core and solid understanding of object‑oriented design principles
Hands‑on experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and RESTful service design
Solid knowledge of multi‑threading and asynchronous programming
Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies (Docker)
Proven experience designing API‑based, service‑oriented or microservices architectures
Strong discipline with automated testing (NUnit, Moq, Cucumber or similar)
Experience with messaging and middleware technologies (RabbitMQ, SignalR, TIBCO, or similar)
Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git and TeamCity
Practical experience working in Agile software development environments
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (MS SQL Server): triggers, stored procedures, performance tuning
Strong experience with in‑memory databases: using Redis for caching
Hands‑on experience with AWS services
Hands‑on experience with Azure services, Terraform/OpenTofu/Bicep/Pulumi for IaC
Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
Experience with distributed architectures and observability tools (Grafana, DataDog)
Experience with Microsoft DevOps and version control (Git)
Familiarity with security and code quality tools (Veracode, SonarQube)
Experience with DevOps processes including pipeline configuration
Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Experience with large language model integration (ChatGPT / GPT‑4)
Intermediate or advanced English proficiency
Experience in virtualized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Fixed Income products or financial markets
Experience configuring and improving CI/CD pipelines
Hands‑on experience using AWS services
Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions
Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
