As a Patent Project Manager, you will oversee and manage patent filing requests, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results. This involves coordinating various aspects, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
This is a full-time, remote position with working hours in the Pacific Standard Time (United States time zone). You must be able to commit to working Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm PST.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required for this role, as you will work with English-speaking teammates and clients.
* Prepare documents for EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Initiate preparation of responses to official communications and notifications.
* Coordinate filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Monitor all assigned cases and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting.
* Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities.
* SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE MANAGING COMPLEX PROJECTS.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* SUCCESSFUL TRACK RECORD OF COLLABORATION WITH DIVERSE STAKEHOLDERS.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
* Comfort working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines.
* Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
* Skilled at training internal and external users in MTPE & TM workflows.
* Skilled at vendor recruitment and negotiations.
