Data Migration Consultant
We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Consultant to join our team. As a Data Migration Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data migration strategies that ensure seamless transition of data from legacy systems to new platforms.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design and implement data migration processes using SQL, data mapping, and transformation techniques to optimize efficiency.
* Evaluate data integrity and quality during the migration process and perform regular audits and validation checks.
* Plan and manage data migration projects, including resource allocation and schedule management, while identifying and mitigating risks associated with data migration.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computer science, IT, or a related field, with at least 8-10 years of experience in data migration and management. Proficiency in SQL and data migration tools like Talend, Informatica, and database management systems such as SQL Server and Oracle is essential.
