In this role, you’ll design and develop reliable services and APIs, create intuitive user experiences, and work on infrastructure that handles mission-critical workloads. You’ll collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to bring ideas to life and continually improve what we deliver.Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.Follow clean code principles, using best practices to write secure, testable, and well-documented software.Work closely with a global team, including engineers, product managers, and UX designers, to build a stable, high-performance platform.Implement comprehensive testing and performance tuning to ensure system stability and uptime.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements, estimate effort, and unblock work as neededOwn end-to-end features from design to deployment across the stackWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices in software design, performance, and reliabilityDesign and optimize systems for low-latency and high-throughput workloadsContinuously improve infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and developer workflowsContribute to a strong team culture rooted in collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellenceFrontend: React, TypeScriptBackend: Node.Js, NestJS (nice to have), KafkaDatabases: PostgreSQL (relational), ClickHouse and other modern datastoresCommunication: REST, gRPC (nice to have)Technical Skills:5+ years of experience working in agile environments (ideally Scrum), collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, product).Strong proficiency in server-side development with hands-on experience in building scalable and reliable back-end systems.Must Have:Strong experience with React and TypeScriptStrong experience with Node.JsSolid foundation in backend development with a relational database (e.G., PostgreSQL)Proven ability to build scalable, maintainable software in modern environmentsStrong testing habits with unit and integration test coverageExperience working in agile teams and version control systems (e.G., Git)Very Nice to Have (Highly Preferred):Experience with NestJSExperience with ClickHouseReal-world experience using Kafka in productionExperience with Kubernetes and container orchestrationExposure to gRPC and microservices architectureFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code and cloud platforms (e.G., Terraform, AWS)Communication and Collaboration:Strong attention to documentation and maintaining standards across projects.Ability to present and defend technical decisions with confidence.Skilled at estimating project complexity based on early documentation and discussions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions clearly.The estimated total compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000 USD (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range.
