They move fast, think outside the box, and never settle for “good enough.” If you’re obsessed with TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts and know how to hook an audience in the first three seconds, this gig is for you. As a Video Editor, you’ll be the one transforming raw footage into addictive short-form content that actually gets people to stop, watch, and engage.
What You’ll Do
Edit with impact: Turn raw footage into engaging short-form content that drives attention and retention.
Infuse creativity: Use memes, trending sounds, and dynamic editing to give each video personality and flair.
Prioritize the hook: Craft strong openings and pacing that maximize watch time.
Tailor for platforms: Optimize edits for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, ensuring the best experience for each.
Collaborate: Work closely with creators and team members to bring ideas to life and iterate based on feedback.
Stay current: Keep up with editing trends, formats, and viral styles to ensure content feels fresh and relevant.
What We’re Looking For
Short-form native: Deep knowledge of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Reels—what works, what doesn’t.
Editing skills: Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar tools.
Story-driven: Ability to structure clips with a hook, flow, and payoff—even in under 30 seconds.
Agile mindset: Comfortable working with quick turnarounds and feedback loops.
Highly creative: Strong use of transitions, effects, subtitles, and audio to elevate content.
Culturally fluent: You live and breathe internet culture, trends, and memes.
