Position Challenges
Oversee and manage labor relations activities in compliance with Brazilian labor laws (CLT) and government regulations. This role is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with unions, labor authorities, and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and the company’s labor relations strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
* Union Relations : Lead collective bargaining negotiations, manage union communications, and ensure compliance with labor agreements.
* Government Relations : Handle inspections, audits, and represent the company in labor-related proceedings with Brazilian authorities.
* Labor Law Compliance : Provide legal guidance, monitor legislative changes, and ensure internal policies align with CLT regulations.
* Internal Advisory : Support HR and leadership in labor strategies, disciplinary actions, and organizational changes.
* Monitoring & Reporting : Track labor signals, update dashboards, and report potential risks to HQ.
* Training & Communication : Deliver training on labor topics and foster open dialogue with union reps and frontline teams.
* Labor Market Trends : Research and report on regional labor market trends, union activities, and strike patterns.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Law, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
* Postgraduate studies in Labor Law or Labor Relations (preferred).
* Solid experience in labor relations within industrial / global environments.
* Strong knowledge of CLT, CBAs, union structures, and eSocial, DIRF / GFIP, Payroll Compliance.
* Familiarity with labor court procedures and inspections.
* Experience with labor metrics, compliance reporting, and cost management.
* Advanced Excel.
* Knowledge of LGPD in HR processes.
* Advanced English (will be tested).
