As a seasoned Backend Developer, you will be instrumental in crafting robust and scalable backend systems that underpin Bunge's digital offerings. This senior-level role demands advanced technical expertise in backend technologies, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide junior team members and oversee/validate outcomes delivered by external vendors.
Main responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable backend services and APIs using industry-standard frameworks, collaborating with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and specifications, participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing among team members, troubleshooting and debugging backend issues, and implementing solutions to resolve them, staying up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and best practices, and sharing knowledge with the team, contributing to the continuous improvement of the development process and codebase, ensuring that backend systems are optimized for performance and scalability, and guiding teammates on developing efficient and secure backend components.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building reliable and efficient backend services that drive the company's digital initiatives. They will have strong proficiency in Salesforce backend programming, including Apex and Lightning Web Components, experience with building RESTful and SOAP APIs, a deep understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud standard data models, experience with testing frameworks and methodologies, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of position-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience level. Fluency in English is required, and Salesforce certifications are highly valued.
