About the position
The senior-level position will be part of the our client team business intelligence solution that brings data from multiple products onto one platform enabling analysis and data-driven insights.
Responsibilities will focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that converts raw data into a format ready for ingestion by a BI tool.
The ideal candidate should be able to design data pipelines (not only build them), make architectural decisions, understand data flows end-to-end, and work beyond ticket-based execution.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
Pipeline Design (not just implementation)
* Define how pipelines should be built (not only execute them)
* Design ingestion, transformation (ELT), and delivery strategies
* Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance
Data Architecture & Data Flows
* Understand and design full data flows end-to-end
* Work with modern data architectures (ELT, distributed systems)
* Make decisions on data modeling and storage
Cloud-to-Cloud Migrations
* Work on data migrations across cloud environments
* Optimize movement and transformation of large datasets
* Ensure reliability and performance during migrations
Optimization & Performance
* Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines
* Improve efficiency and reduce processing costs
* Identify bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions
Production Troubleshooting (Critical)
* Investigate issues such as incorrect data in dashboards
* Trace problems across the full pipeline (ingestion → transformation → BI)
* Provide structured root cause analysis and resolution
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain scalable data pipelines (end-to-end ownership)
* Design and optimize transformation logic and SQL processes
* Work on database architecture and distributed systems
* Ensure data quality, validation, and reliability
* Monitor pipelines and troubleshoot production issues
* Integrate data from APIs and multiple systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Take technical decisions, not just execute tasks
Required Skills
Core
* Strong SQL and Python
* End-to-end pipeline experience
* Data modeling and architecture understanding
* LEVEL ENGLISH B2
Cloud (Very Important)
* Experience with AWS 5+ years
* Preferably strong and recent AWS experience
* Hands-on experience (not just exposure)
Technical Depth
* ETL / ELT processes
* APIs and integrations
* Distributed systems
Problem Solving (Critical)
* Troubleshooting in production
* Debugging pipelines and dashboards
* Structured and analytical thinking
Ideal Candidate
* Has hands-on experience building pipelines
