About the Role:Role: Senior UX/UI Designer Location: Brazil (Remote)Employment Type: Contract Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full UX/UI design process, from research and discovery to prototyping and final delivery.Conduct user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and competitive analysis to uncover user insights and pain points.Translate research findings into personas, user flows, journey maps, and wireframes that guide product direction.Develop high-fidelity UI designs and maintain design systems that ensure cross-platform consistency.Define and advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.Independently identify design opportunities, propose solutions, and make strategic design decisions.Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure feasibility, usability, and design consistency.Present design rationale and research-backed recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.Must-Have Requirements7+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing research-driven design decisions.Proven ability to independently lead design initiatives from concept to execution.Expertise in user research methods (interviews, surveys, usability studies, A/B testing).Strong proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Miro, etc.).Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.Solid knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.Ability to simplify complex problems into elegant, user-friendly solutions.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence non-design stakeholders.Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics).Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
