You should have
extensive experience in designing vehicle wraps
and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator. This role requires you to have a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of industry best practices.
You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
Bachelor's Degree in Design or similar relevant field.
5+ years of experience in vehicle graphics design.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Illustrator.
Ability to create and modify dimensionally accurate templates.
Understanding of production file preparation and industry best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within budget constraints.
Willingness to learn and use proprietary task management systems.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
Create visually appealing and dimensionally accurate vehicle wrap designs.
Utilize Adobe Illustrator to produce high-quality designs.
Develop and adjust templates for various vehicle types, ensuring accuracy.
Prepare production files with proper layering structures, grouping, and clipping masks.
Design within specific material and budget constraints, optimizing material usage.
Apply best practices such as rounding corners, applying bleeds, and bubble cuts to designs.
Ensure all designs meet required specifications and standards to avoid errors.
Use the company's proprietary task management system to manage and distribute projects.
