Corporate Development Specialist Role
This position involves fostering strong partnerships with software industry decision-makers, M&A specialists, and private equity/venture capital professionals to identify and pursue current and future M&A opportunities.
The Corporate Development Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing an M&A pipeline through a customer relationship management platform and creating market maps to establish strategic relationships in assigned software industry verticals.
Key objectives include meeting and exceeding monthly M&A targets, working independently and collaboratively with M&A leadership to evaluate M&A opportunities, and ensuring the lead database is accurately allocated within portfolio verticals.
* Mandatory Requirements: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Business Development/Sales position at a software company or client-facing M&A/finance role within business development, sales, and/or account management.
* Key Priorities: Advanced verbal and written communication skills, ability to engage with CEOs, M&A advisors, corporate development, private equity and venture capital professionals.
