Position Overview
The Applied Health & Performance Program Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing initiatives that optimize employee health, well-being, and workplace performance. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights, wellness programs, and performance strategies to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and organizational outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines expertise in health, wellness, and performance management with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Design & Implementation
Develop, launch, and manage health and performance programs, including physical health, mental well-being, ergonomics, fitness, and stress management initiatives.
Tailor programs to meet organizational objectives and employee needs, leveraging data and research to guide decisions.
Ensure program accessibility, inclusivity, and alignment with company culture and values.
1. Health & Performance Assessment
Monitor and evaluate employee health, engagement, and performance metrics.
Conduct needs assessments, surveys, and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide actionable insights to leadership on health trends, risk factors, and program effectiveness.
1. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Partner with HR, leadership, and external vendors to coordinate initiatives and ensure effective delivery.
Communicate program objectives, benefits, and updates to employees through multiple channels.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers on employee health, performance, and wellness strategies.
1. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all programs comply with relevant health, safety, and data privacy regulations.
Develop protocols and policies to safeguard employee information and maintain confidentiality.
Promote safe and supportive practices across all health and performance initiatives.
1. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in health, wellness, and performance management.
Identify innovative approaches to enhance employee experience and organizational performance.
Measure program ROI and effectiveness, and refine programs based on feedback and analytics.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Human Resources, Occupational Health, or related field (Master's preferred).
5+ years of experience in program management, employee wellness, health promotion, or performance optimization.
Proven ability to design and implement health or performance programs in corporate or organizational settings.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform program decisions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of health regulations, wellness certifications, and performance management frameworks is an advantage.
