Job Title: Business Development Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Specialist with a background in the travel industry, to spearhead our growth strategy.
About the Role:
* Main Responsibilities:
* In charge of existing clients within assigned territories, fostering strong relationships and driving business expansion.
* Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, identify new business opportunities, and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Acquire new key accounts within assigned territories through proactive outreach and negotiation.
* Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their objectives.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue generation.
* Prepare and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.
* Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback and insights from clients, contributing to the development of new products/services.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills, thriving in the creation and maintenance of successful long-term commercial relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
* Experienced with proven ability to deliver results in an autonomous working environment.
* Solid experience and commercial knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries.
* Commercially good knowledge of business for B2B, as well as new business segments and models.
* Project management skills.
* Proficiency in English and Portuguese as working languages is required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
