As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and tracking global trade regulations across the Americas. This fully remote role involves monitoring legislative and regulatory changes, interpreting new legislation, and preparing comparative analyses of regulatory changes.
Main Responsibilities
* You will be required to maintain up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
* You will track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, LATAM, etc.).
* You will interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
* You will prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required.
* Your research and documentation must meet ISO process standards.
SAP GTS Alignment
* You will research and provide insights relevant to SAP GTS (v11 or similar), supporting product specialists on topics such as:
* Export Control & Licensing
* Import Control & Market Access
* Sanctions & Restricted Party Compliance
* Customs & Tariff Management
* Trade Agreements & Origin Management
* Regulatory Reporting & Declarations
* Product & Classification Compliance
* Collaboration & Documentation
