Senior Business Analyst and Process Improvement Specialist
This role specializes in serving as the primary liaison between Technology and specific business areas.
* Evaluate business problems and assess the potential for automated solutions.
* Assist in identifying, evaluating, and developing specifications for systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet business requirements.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze business reporting, systems data, and relevant performance data to provide insights to business and IT leaders, supporting informed decision-making.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, systems integration, and technology solutions that address the needs of business partners.
Recognized as a subject matter expert in the sub-function, typically achieved through advanced education and work experience.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Manage large projects, processes, products, and systems with limited oversight from management.
* Provide coaching, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
* Serve as an expert within the discipline.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
* Skills in communication and stakeholder management, data analytics and reporting, data cleaning, structuring, and management, capacity management and prioritization, business/insurance acumen, and IT processes and systems.
* Exceptional verbal, analytical and written communication skills – must be comfortable speaking and writing to C-level audiences, as well as technical audiences.
