Job Position: Caregiver Scheduler Coordinator
The primary responsibility of a caregiver scheduler is to manage caregiver schedules, ensure continuous client coverage, and anticipate potential scheduling challenges. This role requires close collaboration with caregivers, clients, and agency staff to keep care delivery on track.
About the Role:
* Manage caregiver schedules, call-outs, and no-shows to guarantee uninterrupted client service
* Utilize scheduling and EMR systems to streamline care coordination
* Proactively identify coverage gaps and resolve scheduling conflicts in real-time
* Document updates accurately in the system to prevent missed calls or service disruptions
* Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless handoffs across shifts and 24/7 coverage
* Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance scheduling processes and optimize client satisfaction
Requirements:
* 1-2+ years experience in U.S. healthcare operations, patient coordination, or provider support roles
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with physicians, clinic staff, or healthcare providers
* Familiarity with EMR/scheduling systems such as WellSky, AxisCare, or ClearCare
* Tech-savvy individual able to quickly adapt to new platforms and tools
* Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to address urgent scheduling conflicts
* Prior experience working with remote teams within the U.S.
