Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our projects to success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
* Manage complex IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including technical architects, developers, QA professionals, and business analysts, to ensure that project deliverables meet customer requirements.
* Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure their continued growth and development.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
* Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience in an Agile Scrum environment, focusing on application software development.
* Prior hands-on development or coding experience.
* Proven track record of managing teams of technical architects, developers, QA professionals, and business analysts.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft DevOps, managing user stories, epics, sprints, and Agile metrics such as burndown charts.
* Ability to perform business analysis, including requirements gathering and process documentation.
* Experience in managing project budgets over $1M and delivering projects on time and within scope, overseeing all phases of the SDLC.
* Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
* Strong organizational skills and mindset.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is highly desirable.
* Previous experience in a consulting role or possessing a consultative mindset.
* PMP certification and CSM.
* Familiarity with Change Management, Risk Analysis, and Cloud Technologies.
