The Opportunity

As a Marketing Intern, you'll play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives that drive brand positioning and messaging across dynamic sectors like oil, energy, and digital transformation. Tasks:
* Assist in creating and executing digital and institutional marketing campaigns with a focus on branding and lead generation.
* Contribute to the development of content, including posts, articles, presentations, and corporate materials, aligned with the company's global communication strategy.
* Help manage corporate social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and others) and monitor the performance of published content.
* Support the planning, organization, and promotion of industry events and conferences, such as SBGf, OTC, and Rio Oil & Gas.
* Track performance metrics and prepare analytical reports on marketing campaigns and initiatives.
* Collaborate with sales and business development teams on promotional activities, events, and integrated communication efforts.
* Maintain and update online platforms and institutional channels with new content, news, and marketing materials.
Skills:
* Genuine interest in corporate communication and B2B marketing.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
* Basic knowledge of social media platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, or similar).
* Intermediate to advanced English proficiency is a plus.
* Highly organized, curious, and eager to learn about the energy and technology sectors.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This role is based in a professional office setting with routine use of computers and collaboration tools.
Physical Demands:
This is primarily a sedentary role, involving extended periods of computer work.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is an internship position with a workload of 6 hours per day, totaling 30 hours per week.
Activities may be performed at Katalyst's office or remotely, depending on availability and team coordination.
The work schedule is flexible within regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), while respecting the 6-hour daily requirement.
Travel:
Occasional travel may be required of the Marketing Intern. If participation in an offsite meeting or company event is requested, all related travel expenses will be covered or reimbursed by Katalyst, in accordance with the company's policies and local regulations.
Required Education and Experience
* Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field with at least one year remaining before graduation.
* Interest or basic understanding of the energy and technology industries (preferred).
* Some experience through academic projects or internships in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation (preferred).
