THE JOB
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team at Live Nation Brazil in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a foundational knowledge of accounting principles, be enthusiastic about the industry, and possess strong analytical skills.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
* Manage accounting for individual venue revenue and expense accounts
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and statements
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes
* Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures / policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
* Help maintain the integrity of the general ledger
* Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting systems
* Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and financial routine tasks as needed
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Advanced English skills
* Knowledge of accounting software (Oracle a plus)
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
